A luminous Muslim scholar of our time identified three great enemies of our communities: ignorance, poverty, and division. These cannot be overcome without knowledge, constructive effort, and unity.
While much support understandably goes to urgent humanitarian causes, many of the crises we witness are also rooted in these deeper conditions. Behind so much suffering lies not only immediate need, but also loss of meaning, weak education, lack of guidance, and fragmentation within our communities.

At IFMT, this is the space we are trying to serve through scholarship, translations, teacher training, chaplaincy, and leadership development. This work may not always produce immediate results, but its impact is deep and long-term. It helps shape people, strengthen institutions, and invest in future generations.
I would be very grateful if you could support our LaunchGood campaign with a donation and by sharing it with others.

We’d love to invite your school to take part in an online professional development programme created specifically for teachers in Islamic schools.

Training the Teachers (UK Pilot) aims to support educators to teach confidently within a God-centred framework, while also strengthening teachers’ own sense of value and purpose as educators. The programme helps teachers engage the curriculum in ways that feel meaningful, coherent, and relevant, so students can better understand and connect with what they’re learning.

The programme is delivered by the International Foundation for Muslim Theology (IFMT), a non-profit educational organisation with experience delivering programmes both online and in-person in the UK and internationally.

✅ This pilot is free of charge (UK-based).
If you’d like to register interest, please complete this short form:
https://www.ifmt.co.uk/training-the-teachers/

Once you submit the form, we’d be very happy to arrange a brief online meeting to answer any questions and discuss how it could best support your school.
