We have designed the shrine housings to display mosaic stations of the cross for DE LA SALLE school. We welcomed the schools head teacher Mr Norris and assistant head teacher Mrs Tough to see what goes on here and how we were manufacturing their shrines. We worked together to further detail the design and bring the mosaic images and the wood work together. It was a great visit and it was very warming to share some of the stories about new life wood attendees and what goes on in Wat Tyler park. Thank you team de la salle for the great post.

Our client and the team were very pleased with the reception desk we made. It all started as a sketch following a meeting to view the space they had. We came up with the design to keep it simple and completely made from recycled timber. The worktops are salvaged roof timbers joined together. The strips on the front are cut from floor joists all fitted to a curved timber frame. Finished with dulux antique pine wood stain and sealed with acrylic satin varnish. Well. Christmas is almost here. We have had an eventful year at NEW LIFE WOOD. New placements and volunteers have come together to create things made from wood. It gives people a sense of purpose and improves well-being. And it’s fun along the way. Please pop down and see us in Wat Tyler park SS16 4UH and buy a last minute gift . There are some Christmas trees left. There are gonks, mooses , pigs, wise owls. And a variety of random items. One-offs. Bespoke unusual gifts and all made in Pitsea. Come and get a bargain. Some of the trees we have are 4 ft tall but most will fit in back of car. We can possibly deliver anything that’s not going to fit locally . Come an support our little charity and help us make a difference to the local community. Good morning fans. It’s that time of year again. Christmas tree production has started . Everyone gets involved. Collecting the pallets. Dismantling the pallets. Cutting , sanding and assembly.
