Barton Bike Night

09/09/2026

You all might know that Barton Bike Night nearly didn't happen this year. At the last minute, a group of volunteers stepped up to take over and get the event on. Pete Storey took the chairman's role and you may have seen videos, interviews & TV clips of him over the last few months.

Charming, handsome and athletic are just 3 words you wouldn't use to describe him! Many words come to mind but you'd be forgiven for not including 'Runner' on that list.

He's not a runner, at all. EVER! But this weekend he's going to be plodding his way round the Great North Run. A half marathon from Newcastle to South Shields.

He signed up to run for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance when researching some bits for this years bike night. Training only started the day after bike night (9 weeks ago).

Pete would be very grateful if you can donate to LNAA via his account below. He'll really only make it round in one piece with the knowledge that the charity will be getting a great donation.

Thank-you all for anything you're able to donate.

Not only my first ever GNR, 1st ever half marathon but first ever 10k, 5k etc! (I've now done 10k+ in training for this mind) Should have done this 20 years ago but life got in the way, at the ripe ag

If you enjoyed the demonstration by Scunthorpe Motorcycle Club at the bike night, they have an event this coming Thursday evening, 18:30 start at a farm near Barrow Haven (more details on location in the link). Spectators are more then welcome if you want to go along and see how an actual event works. They are also looking for observers, so if you have a knowledge of trials and can spare a few hours your help would be massively appreciated. You also get £20 so can grab a pint or two on the way home.

Reminder that our 2nd Summer series trial is next Thursday 16th July starting at 18:30. It's at a new venue for us, Greengrass Farm, Barrow Haven, but some of you may have visited with North Lincs MCC. Further details on location are in the entry link below. 4 laps of 8 sections. There's no separate conducted route, but there is a 'dead easy' green route if any of the usual conducted riders want to join the fun. As always, observers are welcomed with open arms!

That.Girl.Biker organised a ride out from South Yorkshire, over to us this year. Give her video a like and subscribe.

This is what Barton Bike Night is about. People, strangers, machines, friends- meeting up and riding out to see us! Same time next year?

Barton Bike Night - I organised a ride out to it! 🏍️I honestly didn’t know how many people would turn up… especially with football on and such an early meet time.

But wow 🥹

Seeing so many bikers come together for this ride meant more than you know. Nights like this remind me why I love this community so much 🤙🏼😁

Full YouTube video is now live, see if you can spot yourself, link in comments 👇

🏍 how good was it to have the show arena back again this year 🙌

Great to see the arena lined with spectators, big thanks to Scunthorpe MCC, Rich Towers with his Pit Bike Crew inc Medd Racing & The Hellfire Hellion Collective for entertaining the crowds.

Shout out to Humber Event Rentals Ltd who set up and manned the PA system for the night also.
