🦁💛 BARTON LIONS PROUDLY SUPPORT LINDSEY LODGE HOSPICE! 💛🦁

Barton Lions Club were delighted to welcome Selina Doyle, Fundraising Coordinator from Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare, to our recent meeting.

Selina gave a very interesting and informative talk about the incredible work carried out by the hospice and the vital care and support they provide to patients and their families across our local community.

Following the talk, we were proud to present a donation of £1,000 to help support the hospice and the wonderful work they do. 💚

A huge thank you to Selina for taking the time to visit us and share an insight into the difference Lindsey Lodge makes to so many lives.

Supporting local charities and making a difference in our community is at the heart of everything we do at Barton Lions. 🦁

📢 **Wednesday Quiz Night Update**📢

This week’s quiz at The White Swan has been cancelled, but there’s still a great reason to head down!

England are in action, and some of us will be in the pub watching the match together. 🏴⚽

The White Swan is a brilliant place to catch the game, with a friendly atmosphere, plenty of drinks, and fellow England fans cheering on the team.

We’ll be rescheduling the quiz very soon, so keep an eye on our page for the new date.

In the meantime, come along, grab a drink, and join us for the match.

Barton Lions President, Chris Hume was happy to present The John Oxley Memorial Trophy tonight for Barton Jnrs Football Club. The young man receiving it was commended for his contribution to the team, reffing and supporting other teams. Thank you for a very warm welcome.

Today Lion President Chris dropped off the hospital Lions at Disney Ward and A&E at Scunthorpe General Hospital. They were extremely appreciative.
