Giving university students from a range of varied backgrounds an insight into what it's like to serve within the Royal Air Force through adventurous training, flying, sporting activities and leadership training. We are part of 6 Flying Training School (FTS) within No 22 Group of the Royal Air Force. Our primary aim is to give students from Welsh Universities the opportunity to gain insight into wh
at it's like serve both within the regular RAF and its reserve forces. Students have the opportunity to undergo flying training, adventurous training, sport, field exercises, leadership training and even compete for a commission in the RAF reserves while still at university. On top of this, students also receive some pay for their activities. We feel that our offer is unmatched by any other university society.
