Together Home Education Together Home Education is an educational community affiliated with Home Education Wales. Based in S. Wales UK.

We provide friendship, activities, products, and support to families who are electively home educating. We meet every Tuesday term time and selected dates during the holidays. We meet at Margaret Alexander Community Centre, Barry.

HEB is exclusively run by its home educating members, and its nominated trustees Tamara, Sharon and Donna.

The founding members (currently 11 families and growing) are committed to the continued success of the group, consisting of 25 – 30 children aged between 0 - 18 years old. The families come mainly from Barry and the surrounding areas of the vale of Glamorgan. The group is well known in the Home Education community and has been running for over 2 years thanks to attendees’ personal donations, contributions and fundraising efforts. HEB is an important and trusted group for home educators in the Vale and offers help and support to families in a safe and welcome environment. With a mixture of ages and abilities its very important to create a group that all families can enjoy. HEB was recently nominated as a finalist for the Bro Radio Community Awards, in recognition of its continued contribution to support Home Educating families.
