Bank/Relief Care Worker

Location: Ostley House
Pay: £13.91 per hour or £14.17 with an NVQ 3 or equivalent. Pay enhancement in addition to hourly rate in lieu of holiday pay.
Contract: Bank/Relief – flexible hours
Hours: As and when required, including weekends and evenings

About the role:

We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Bank/Relief Care Workers to join our friendly team at Ostley House.

As a Bank/Relief Care Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to the people who use our service, helping them to live safely, independently and with dignity. The role offers flexible working, making it ideal for people who want to work around other commitments.

Your responsibilities will include:
Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support.
Supporting individuals with their daily living activities.
Assisting with personal care where required.
Encouraging independence, choice and dignity.
Maintaining accurate and confidential care records.
Working positively with colleagues, families and other professionals.
Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is:

Caring, compassionate and respectful.
Reliable, punctual and flexible.
Patient and able to communicate effectively.
Comfortable working as part of a team.
Committed to promoting independence and dignity.
Willing to undertake training and develop their skills.
Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential.
What we offer:
Flexible bank/relief working.
Competitive hourly rate of £13.91 per hour or £14.17 with an NVQ 3 or equivalent. Pay enhancement in addition to hourly rate in lieu of holiday pay.
Full training and ongoing development.
