So It’s that time of year again where the planning has started to happen behind the scenes.

People have been asking if the Azza Samms Memorial Day will go ahead again this year….

As long as people want it to go head we will keep going.

So for the 3rd year in a row here we go ⚽️🐎🎤💜

What an amazing email to receive from The Stroke Association thanking for the amazing donation this year.

A huge thank you to everyone again who helped raise such an amazing amount for the second year running 💜

The final total is now in and has been donated to the Stroke Association 💜

Over the last two years we have now donated £6,860.99

Taking away last years total of £3,190.67 means this years Azza Samms Memorial Day has Raised a whopping

🌟 £3,670.32 🌟

Thank you all so much for your support. Never in a million years did we think we would have been able to raise as much as we have over the last two years. We can’t thank you all enough

In the final week count down now.

A huge thank you to all the have donated prizes for the raffle and tombola. We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the support and generosity of you all. We have some amazing prizes. Plus the 2 main prizes to auction.

This is a family day so children are welcome. We have mini goals and coloured bibs ready for the kids to have their own kick about.

The Ice cream van will be paying us a visit at the pitch like last year. Plus there are loads of kids prizes to be won on the tombola plus sweet cones, glitter tattoos and glow sticks for the live music later on.

Please remember to bring cash for those who would like to take part in the horse racing which starts from 5pm

Donations will be accepted in cash or via the donations page on the day. If anyone who can’t make it would like to donate please use the link in the next post.

⚽️ 2pm - Football kick off

🏇 5pm - Racing starts and food provided

✋🏼7pm - Auction starts for the amazing donations of football boots signed by England’s Georgia Stanway and signed Crystal Palace football shirt

With the Memorial Day fast approaching here’s what to expect on the day.

⚽️ Family & Friends Vs Past/Present Nautical players football match to kick off at 2pm at Tummer Hill, Walney

🐎 Horse Racing afternoon at the West Shore Club from 5pm

🎤Live music from Daisy and Diva from 8pm.

There will be a children’s game if they want to get involved, tomobla, raffle, auction and food.

We have been overwhelmed by the amount of donations for the tombola and the raffle. Plus 2 amazing items to auction.

⭐️ Signed football boots from England women’s footballer Georgia Stanway

⭐️A signed football shirt from Crystal Palace

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated.

We hope to see you all there to help us raise as much money as we can for the stroke association 💜

This is a family event so children are welcome to stay all day/night.

After last nights win I think today is the perfect time to put out a HUGE big thank you to Georgia Stanway as we have been absolutely blown away by her donation of a signed pair of football boots for us to auction to help raise further funds for the Azza Samms Memorial Day.
