You guys are amazing with the amount of donations you’ve sent recently! Unfortunately though due to this we currently can’t accept any more donations until we get on top of what we have. So please bear with us and send us a message if you are having a clear out and we can arrange something.

Also thank you for all your support and offers of help over the last few days it really has meant a lot to all of us here.

Some people have asked us if there's anything they can do to help us at this time and all we can say is if you pray that would be a great help.
If you would like to join us at our regular Wednesday prayer gathering at 9AM you would be very much welcome to. We look forward to seeing you.

Don’t forget we have our weekly prayer gatherings on a Wednesday morning from 9am feel free to join us in person, at home or even message us your specific requests.

As we posted yesterday we will not be open until Tuesday 16th June.

Sadly at 2am on Thursday morning the shop was broken into and the till stolen. All CCTV footage of the incident has been sent to the police and they are now doing their job. Could we ask that if you are a praying person that you hold the shop and all involved in this situation in your prayers

We value your support and always look forward to your visits. So please bear with us and we can’t wait to see you all again on Tuesday.

We stopped by Re:new Community Charity Shop this week as they celebrated their 2 year anniversary in the Dalton Road shop!

Since moving to their current location in 2024, they’ve expanded their offering to include activities, crafts and pay as you can tea and coffees, offering a real community hub in the town centre.

Manager Tim thanked everyone for their support, saying:

“Since opening the shop in the present location we’ve been thoroughly overwhelmed by the support and love from the local community in which we are serving and giving back to.

Thank you all for your support and we look for are to being able to work together even more in the future.”

Everyone’s welcome for pay as you feel tea and coffee, come bring a friend and have a chat, or browse the store and shop sustainably!

So it’s national fish and chips day today and we are blessed to have been offered a fish and chips lunch!!

Our question is this though what do you have with yours? Just salt and vinegar, mushy peas, a bread roll, scraps or anything else??

Just a little reminder about our next book market at Beacon Hill Methodist Church. From 10am on Thursday. All the Christian books and products are free but donations towards the work of the shop are appreciated.
