Ulverston Rotary’s next Coffee Morning will take place on Thursday 1st October from 09.30 – 12.00, raising funds for St Mary’s Hospice.

Following our successful fundraiser for the Sandside Lodge School café project, we are delighted that students from the school will be helping at this event. Their involvement will give them the opportunity to support the local community and gain valuable real-world experience.

There will be a mouth-watering selection of cakes on sale, along with a wide range of stalls, including:
• Wood turning
• Jewellery
• Greeting cards
• Toiletries
• Craft gifts
• Bric-a-brac
• Raffle
• Tombola

We are busy planning our Christmas Fair, it is on the 8th November at The Fairfield in Barrow. There will be lots of lovely craft stalls as well as a cake stall, refreshments, raffle and other Rotary stalls. Looking forward to seeing people there to buy the crafts, have a go on the stalls and eat cake

Linda and John had a good day at the Yarn Bomb at St Mark's yesterday admiring all the wool creations, chatting to people about Rotary and telling them what we get up to.

President Tony went to Dalton Leisure Centre to present a cheque for the money raised from our most recent bake sale. While he was there he also browsed our book stall.
