Is about time we said a huge thank you to Foresters Financial. For the 3rd year running they arrived with washing powder galore to be used in our accommodation units through the year. We really do appreciate it very much indeed! Thank you!!!

Our long term resident John reached 70 years of age last Friday!! We had a little tea party to celebrate and, amongst other things, we gifted him a photo of him with his favourite person, Tanya from No Place Like Home Companionship, Support and Homecare services 😄

Last week we said a sad farewell to Claire. After nearly 4 years with us she is following her dream and going off to university to train to be a social worker.
Claire is definitely one of the good ones who genuinely cares. She cares about the people we support and work with and she cares about doing what is right. She has always gone above and beyond in her role here and will always go the extra mile. We are incredibly sad to see her go, but we wish her every ounce of happiness and success. Whoever ends up working with Claire in the future will be very lucky indeed!
Thank you for everything Claire! 🩷🩷🩷
(Thankfully it’s not goodbye it's only au revoir, as she’s staying on our bank staff. She’s not quite rid of us just yet!)

We have Lorraine here from Barrow Library, providing information on all their brilliant services, virtual reality headset & armed with Library cards to get everyone signed up at our Warm Hub today 🤩 a hot meal & a good book on a drizzly day - perfect 🥰

We have been well and truly spoiled today. Not only have we had the pleasure of the lovely Ashley volunteering on her make a difference day from Lloyds Bank we have had a FANTASTIC meat donation from Southwards which will keep us going for a few weeks! Lovely first day centre back, meatballs and pasta today!
