This weekend, the clocks spring forward, meaning we lose an hour! Most teens struggle with sleep as it is, so losing an hour can mess everything up. Here's how you can avoid feeling like a sleep-deprived gremlin:

⏰Start Shifting Early – Instead of waiting until the night before, try going to bed and waking up 10-15 minutes earlier every day for a few days leading up to the time change. It’s like sneaking up on the lost hour instead of getting hit in the face with it all at once.

📲 Ditch the Screens Before Bed – I know, I know… TikTok is calling your name. But the content is keeping your brain wired. Try a book/audio book, a podcast, or even just daydreaming instead.

☀️ Get Some Sunlight ASAP – The best way to reset your body clock is with sunlight! As soon as you wake up, get outside for a few minutes, open your curtains, or even just stand by a window.

🛁Keep a Chill Night Routine – doing the same thing every night signals to your body that it’s time to wind down.

☕Watch the Caffeine – If you’re chugging iced coffee or energy drinks at 5 PM, don’t be surprised when you’re still staring at the ceiling at midnight.
