✨World Mental Health Day✨

Our Shellie and Hayley spent some time at the Salvation Army and their volunteers talking about self-harm and how to support someone who has self-harming behaviours.

It was a pleasure to be invited along and hear about the work they do.

Back in September, I decided I wanted The Bread Shed to be about more than just really good bread. I wanted this little business, and the amazing community that has grown around it, to give something back too.

September’s chosen organisation was SAFA Cumbria, and I’m so pleased to say that thanks to your amazing and consistent orders throughout the month, I’ve been able to donate a percentage of September’s sales. 🥰

And really, this donation is from all of us.

Every loaf, every order and every one of you who continues to support The Bread Shed has helped make it possible. Every penny donated is needed and will be put to excellent use supporting people within our local community who might need a little extra help. ❤️

✨Our Cindy and Hayley are at Lancaster University today attending the CLIMB:Cumbria Celebration Event.

☕️Where there is food there is Hayley….but we were excited to be asked to attend, looking at some of the challenges throughout Cumbria regarding funding for all services and listening to feedback into the research.
