With prom season fast approaching, have you ever considered buying your dress or suit second-hand?

Not only can you save money, but you’re also saving the planet in the process by preventing second-hand clothing from going to landfill. And to top it all off, buying from us means more money for life-saving cancer research.

We have a variety of prom dresses, suits, ties, shoes and jewellery, many of which are brand new with tags.

Just ask our staff in store and we’ll do our best to help you find whatever it is you’re looking for to make your day as special as possible!

If you’ve been in our store recently, you may have noticed our ‘Special Item’ rail in front of the till. This is to raise money for our World Cancer Day campaign, one of CRUK’s biggest annual fundraising events.

This gives us a chance to offer you items that would normally be sold via our online marketplace, at a massive discount! Everything on the rail is either brand new with tags, designer, or both, and there are only a few days left of the campaign to grab yourself a huge bargain before it’s over!

Here are just a few examples of the tags you can see on this rail; all are more than half their original price, and ALL proceeds go to life-changing cancer research.

All of our donated items are checked carefully by our processing team. Did you know that all clothing items are steamed before they get to the shop floor? Furniture is cleaned and polished, and electrical items are checked by our certified P.A.T testers to make sure they’re safe for you to buy.

It’s never too early to prepare…

All of our brand new Christmas stock is currently on sale! Christmas cards are only 99p per pack, with lots still left to choose from. We also have four different sizes of Douglas Fir Christmas trees, from 4ft up to 7ft.

Fund more research, at no extra cost to you.

Every gift you make to Cancer Research UK could be worth more, at no extra cost to you, just by choosing to Gift Aid it.

Last year we generated £32.1m from Gift Aid. This could fund 5 clinical trials for their whole duration, helping us find better ways to prevent and treat cancer.

To sign up, ask a staff member in store when bringing a donation. It’s quick and easy, and costs you nothing but the satisfaction that your donation made the most impact it possibly could for life-changing cancer research.

What not to donate:

-White goods such as fridges and washing machines
-Damaged or broken goods

How to donate:

Find your nearest shop and drop in your donations. Each bag that you donate to us could be worth £25, based on the average bag value, which goes directly to supporting our groundbreaking work.

Recycle Now is the national recycling campaign for England and Northern Ireland, which aims to motivate more people, to recycle more of the right things, more often.
