A big thank you to the South Western Ambulance Service who came to teach us basic CPR (on babies, through to adults) and defibrillator use. This 2hr free training taught us when to do CPR and when not to use the defibrillator, and the differences between a heart attack and cardiac arrest.

They also recommended the use of What 3 Words to pin point where you are in an emergency, The halls defib can be found at

Yarnscombe Village Hall Committee Annual General Meeting

The Yarnscombe Village Hall Committee AGM will take place on Wednesday, 5th August at 8:00pm at Yarnscombe Village Hall.

Everyone is warmly welcome to attend. The AGM is an opportunity to hear about the hall’s activities over the past year, learn about future plans, and have your say on the running and development of this important community facility. Whether you’re a regular hall user, a local resident, or simply interested in supporting your village, we’d be delighted to see you there.

We look forward to welcoming you on the evening.
