Georgie's YC Who are we and what do we do? For young people:
We have a fully kitted out music room, with drum kit, guitars, bass, keyboard and amps.

Devon Youth Service is an informal education service that works with all young people aged between the ages of 11 and 19 on personal their and social development. Georgie's Youth Centre in Barnstaple, offers opportunities for all young people to engage in fun activities and learning to help them make the transition from childhood to adulthood. eat cooking facilities, a garden, pool table and space to chill out with friends. You can talk to youth workers about things that are bothering you, either as a group or on a confidential 1-2-1 basis. You can also get information about things such as sexual health, careers, drugs and alcohol, housing etc. If you're just bored and fancy having a laugh, we
(well some of us!)tell really good jokes! If you have never been before you can just turn up on a night we are open. You will need to complete a short registration form, but if you are at all worried about that one of us can help you. Being involved in the work we do at Georgie's means you will also be able to take part in trips and activities, maybe even overnight stays. If you want to, you will have the chance to develop skills you have in music, art, cooking or sports, and get a certificate for your efforts. You may also get the chance to become a young volunteer and work with other young people.
