Congratulations to all our runners today, a brilliant effort from you all! 💪

Well done to our fastest female, Pauline Davies with a time of 43 minutes 41 seconds and our fastest male, Ryan Palethorpe, who ran in 36 minutes 59 seconds.

A big shout out to all our teams, especially speedy BluGem who have retained their crown from last year 👑

What a morning! Thank you so much to everyone who made today’s 10K possible - runners, sponsors, volunteers and spectators! We couldn’t do any of it without you.

Race day is almost upon us! We're super busy getting everything ready for our biggest fundraising event of the year - the Barnstaple 10K 2026.

If you're running, you should have received your final instruction email, but if you didn't you can read a copy here: https://careforkidsnorthdevon.org.uk/news-single-page-layout/enter-the-barnstaple-10k-2026/

Collect your race numbers and t-shirts from 8.30am. The race starts at 10am.

Entries on the day can register between 8.30 and 9.30am.

Limited parking at the Rugby Club, so try Fairview long stay car park instead.

Come early and you can enjoy a coffee and buy some raffle tickets!! See you all tomorrow 😘

If you're running our Barnstaple 10K on Sunday, don't forget your water bottle.

There will be a water station at The Square, which you will pass twice on the route. We will have paper cups but if you can bring your own bottle to refill, it will cut down on unnecessary waste.

There will also be plenty of water, squash, tea, coffee and CAKE to fill up on at the end 😜

Our fabulous trophies for the Care for Kids Barnstaple 10K are designed and donated by Smurfit Westrock Atlas each year.

It’s so nice to have the support of local businesses, which means every penny of your race entry comes straight to our charity to help support local families 🧡

Thanks to our designer James for crafting these handmade trophies for the Care for kids North Devon 10K on Sunday. Mair from the charity came in to collect them from our General Manager Simone this week.

We are very excited to announce that this year we'll be holding a raffle at our Barnstaple 10K!

We have some fantastic prizes on offer, donated by local businesses in support of our fundraising efforts.

Prizes include:
