HOW AMAZING IS THIS?!

Here we have another gravestone recently uncovered at Felkirk. This one is John Richardson (7 Jan 1775 - 15 Oct 1847) and his wife, Elizabeth nee Robinson (15 Aug 1777 - 13 Jun 1837). John Richardson was the last landlord of the Bay Horse pub which was down what is now Hawthorne Street in Shafton.
Their eldest son, Henry (5 Feb 1798 - 1 Jan 1875) was born in Shafton and went on to be the first Mayor of Barnsley in 1869. He also jointly owned two linen mills, one in Barnsley, the other in Manchester.
For the time being we have had to cover the gravestone as it is too deep down and far too heavy to lift without some equipment.
Incidentally, the layer of earth covering this stone contained various bits of broken porcelain, glass, bits of worked masonry and old metalwork - anybody have any idea why this happened?

With it been 25 years ago since 911. Can you remember what and where you were at the time this tragedy happened? It wasn't just the talk of shafton but the whole world.
