Our little stars

Our little stars We believe every baby’s light deserves to shine.

Our Little Stars was created in memory of George, Cooper, Everlyn and Thea with the mission to bring comfort, hope, and support to families who have experienced the heartbreak of baby loss.

So often we put on a face and try to hide our pain, just so others don’t feel uncomfortable around us or our grief.
But then behind closed doors, we’re left with guilt and overthinking “What if they think I’m okay now?” or “What if they think I’m not hurting because I’m not crying?”

When in reality, we might be very far from okay. We just learn to mask it in public to protect other people’s feelings.

If you feel like this, please know you don’t have to hide your grief.
People may only see a small part of your day but you are the one living it, every moment.

So if you need to show your grief, let it out and don’t feel guilty🤍

Strength doesn’t always look loud.
Sometimes it looks like surviving another day with a broken heart 🤍

There is no right way to do this…
but however you are coping today, you are doing your best and that is enough.

Sending our love to anyone who needs to hear this today.

Today my son watched me pick up a photo of his brother Cooper and kiss it.

He came and sat beside me and kept kissing and cuddling the frame, talking to his brother.

He talks about him all the time.
To him, it’s normal… that’s his big brother and even though they never had the chance to meet he loves him just as much as we do.

I think I’ve gotten so used to it being his normal
that sometimes I forget… this isn’t how it should be.

He shouldn’t be kissing a photo in a frame.
He should be running, playing, laughing,
cuddling and growing up alongside his brother.

But this is the painful reality of baby loss.
And some days, it hits harder than others.

Life moves forward…
but a part of it also stands still.

Grief is love and trying to navigate the loss of a sibling through the eyes of a child is something else entirely.

If you’ve experienced this too…
if your children know a sibling they never got to grow up with you’re not alone 🤍

We see you and we feel it with you.

They are Forever loved ✨

There’s a quiet kind of missing that never really leaves.

It doesn’t matter how full life may look on the outside…how many smiles, milestones, or little hands you get to hold,
there is still a space that belongs to you.

A space that can’t be filled.A name that’s always softly echoing in your heart.A piece of you that went with them.

And the truth is, you can feel deep love and deep loss at the same time.
You can be grateful for what you have, and still ache for what should have been.

Both can exist. Both are real.

So if you ever feel like something is missing…you’re not alone.

That feeling is love.Love that still has somewhere to go. ✨
