🚗🌍 A Crazy Idea… A MINI… And the Sahara! 🌍🚗

Last year, our club member Steve Harris navigating for Tim Bradshaw took on the incredible MINI Rally Challenge. Most people would have called that enough…

Not Steve and Tim! 😄

After dreaming up a truly crazy idea over a year ago, they're now making it a reality. In January 2027, they'll be driving a MINI Challenge rally car across the Sahara Desert, following the legendary original Paris–Dakar route.

Their adventure will take around two weeks, supported by just one support vehicle, as they put themselves—and their MINI—to the ultimate test across one of the world's most demanding landscapes.

This incredible journey is all about adventure, determination, teamwork, and proving what's possible with a little courage and a lot of passion. We couldn't be more excited to follow their progress!

Please show Steve and Tim your support by following their journey on social media. They'll be sharing all the preparation, behind-the-scenes moments, and, of course, the adventure itself as they head across the Sahara.
