Today the 29th of November brings the welcome return of the Drystone Road rally, starting from Flowflex in Buxton, previously the start venue of the 061. Well done to all at Mid-Derbyshire Motor Club for resurrecting this event.
A good number of Matlock members and crews are out tonight, so best of luck to all the following, and also any club members otherwise involved marshalling.

🍂 Tabletop Rally (ACF Round) – What a Night! 🚗💨

A big thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun (for some more than others! 😉). We had an excellent turnout with 18 entries — many of them double crews — making for a great evening all round.

🏆 Congratulations to our winner, Rich Cheetham, who didn’t drop a single minute but just missed the very last question (PC).
👏 And a special mention to Trevor and Lynne Healy, who bravely tackled their very first Tabletop Rally — full marks to them!

The results and answers are attached. If you’d like a copy of the handouts (for your own use or your Club), just let me know.

A big thank you to my helpers, checkers, and beautiful assistants — Ian Frazer, Chris King, Steve Harris, Guy Robinson, and Paul Davenport — couldn’t have done it without you!

A couple of videos from last Sunday’s Royston Motors Autosolo Autosolo organised by Rotherham Motor Club🚗💨

Despite the weather, 23 drivers managed 5 runs in each direction of the test – and what a day it was! Huge thanks to the marshals for keeping everything running smoothly despite the downpour all day! 🙌

Three Matlock Motor Club members took part:
🏆 Andy Massey – 2nd Overall + 1st in Class 3 (Mini)
🏆 Stu – 3rd Overall + 1st in Class 3 (Cappuccino)
🏁 Sasha – 14th Overall + 8th in Class 2 (Cappuccino)

Well done everyone 👏 and a big thank you to Rotherham Motor Club and their marshals for putting on a brilliant day of grassroots motorsport – all for just £40, accessible to anyone – bring any car, no special equipment needed! 🎉
