During our recent trip to France, the lads made a slight detour to visit Barentin, Normandy to see the statue of Joseph Locke.

The statue was erected to commemorate his role in designing and building the impressive 27-arch Barentin railway viaduct, which can be seen in the background.

🟢 11-17th May is Mental Health Awareness Week 🟢

Barnsley Round Table is home to men aged 18-45, which is also the age group where the leading cause of death is su***de.

Struggling? There are groups in our town who can help. There's the amazing Andys Man Club Barnsley who welcome those ready to talk with open arms.

If you're feeling at a loose end, please call the Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258 for dedicated text support. If you need urgent help or are at risk of harming yourself please contact the emergency services.

Together, we can all help bring more men around the table, to get them the help they need to improve their mental health.

Dear Wakefield District Round Table 1088,

Remember what the Falconer Trophy looks like? Of course you do, it's probably living rent free in your heads every time you hear the word 'Barnsley'.

Our man KD has slept with it every night since our victory almost a year ago. Fancy another try to see if you can win it back from us? 👀

Give us a time and place, and we'll maybe let you hold it for a few hours until we take it home again 🤫

National AGM Day for Round Table Great Britain and Ireland - and it's only down the road in Sheffield!

⭐️ Tabler's Tabler of the Year ⭐️

Our youngest member, and all round 'top banana' Brett (shown on the left) was voted the Tabler's Tabler at our recent AGM.

Brett has thrown himself into Round Table and shown us just what he's capable of. Organising amazing social events, helping with the charity handovers and manning the Bonfire car park like a true champion.

He's got a heart as big as his shoulders and we love him for it!
