Long-time hospice supporter Vera Mawby recently celebrated her 90th birthday and kindly asked for donations to the hospice in lieu of gifts.

At the same time, Worsbrough Common Community Association held a coffee morning in memory of a loved one of one of their volunteers.

Together, these wonderful efforts raised an incredible £1,153.78 to support our vital care and services.

We'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to Vera, the volunteers and everyone who donated. Your support helps make a huge difference to local people using our services and their loved ones.

🦄✨ A MAGICAL VISIT FROM WAFFLE THE UNICORN! ✨🦄

True Colours had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the wonderful Waffle the Unicorn from Celebration Ponies to their SEN Group session! 🌈

Seeing the sheer joy, bright smiles, and pure excitement on the children's faces was completely magical. Waffle was an absolute superstar—so gentle, patient, and beautifully braided with rainbow hair that completely captured everyone's imagination.

Opportunities like this are so vital for our children, providing a safe, judgment-free, and highly therapeutic environment where they can experience the magic of animals at their own pace.

Today the lovely fundraising team from Barnsley Hospice come and presented us with a display cheque for our recent fundraising efforts.
From the coffee morning, Vera’s 90th birthday and a family members funeral donations, we raised over £1100.
Thankyou to everyone who got involved in supporting this very worthy cause.
A big shoutout to Potts Bakers for supporting our coffee morning too. It is very much appreciated.
