We're partaking in NCS and for our social action we decided to help SPSAS, a single parent charity, and intend to raise money for hampers to donate and spread awareness single parents' struggles

Today we collected our sponsors and went around the barnsley town in groups, one group went into shops to get canned foods, packeted foods etc. another group went and bought sanitary items such as pads, tampons, nappy bags, toothpaste and tooth brush and baby wipes. The last group bought toys such as balls, frisbees, mystery toys, a small doctors set etc. we all had certain budgets for the items. Tomorrow we will update you on the boxes and what they look like inside and how many items will be in each box. Thank you for your time!

Hi we are taking part in ncs and the second week of it involves our group participating in helping the community out we are doing a step count to raise money to help us to fund to provide for single parents who are struggling across our county we are looking for people to help us as much as possible as we want to make a difference for other people dealing with the struggles of single parenting. Even if you can’t donate please share. we are aiming to walk 200km as a group! Thanks, NCS group 5 wave 2.
