West Craven Food Bank

Did you know you can support our work without it costing you a penny?

By choosing us as your charity, shopping at the Co-op and using your membership card when you do so.

We are over the moon to have been selected for a second year as a local charity supported by the Co-op Community Fund.

They wipe the slate clean at this time of year and every member has to choose their local cause to support again.

So, even if you've done this before, please do take a moment to repeat it.

1. Sign-in to your account via the Co-op website or app.
2. Select 'Choose A Local Cause'
3. Click 'West Craven Food Bank' and 'Choose This Cause'

And that's it. Job done.

For the next year, every time you use your membership a donation is made to our charity.

It's such a great initiative and makes a massive difference. Please do get involved.

It only takes a moment, we promise 🙏

Another Thank You!
This one is to Bonjour Cards and Gifts for your generous donation of £50.

It means so much to receive support like this from our local community, which helps us to offer a hand up to those who need it.

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our harvest appeal over the last few weeks 🌾

We've had food dropped off at the donation points, presentations and collections at schools, some additional funds coming through, and loads of support here on social media.

If you've donated in some way, shared and support our posts on here, hosted a donation point or collection box, done a fundraiser - we really appreciate it.

It's such a critical time for us in filling up the shelves, and that allows us to continue supporting our community.

A huge thank you for making a difference - it really matters and we are extremely grateful.

And if this acts as a reminder that you wanted to donate, but haven't yet, all the details you need are below.

Have a great weekend!

Some of you very kind people have asked how you can make a financial donation towards our harvest appeal.

We know it's not always easy to get to the shops and a donation point. We use any funds received to help keep the shelves stocked.

Here's the info if you'd prefer to donate this way.

Thank you to all the local schools who support us at this time of year

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Our amazing school community always come together, and this morning was no different!

We asked for donations for our Harvest appeal - and you answered! I was blown away with the amount of food donations received this morning, and the whole team at West Craven Food Bank are very grateful for our ongoing support.

Thank you to our School Chaplain, Julie Bryan, for coming to speak in assembly this morning and receive our donations, which will be put to great use supporting people who really need it in our community.

Here are our Head Boy and Head Girl (Oscar and Harriet) handing over the donations to Julie this morning.

Thank you all so much for your amazing generosity and kindness.
