Cherry Lodge Cancer Care is an independent charity committed to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer, their carers and families. Cancer care is currently a national priority and has been receiving increased attention under the NHS Cancer Plan. Yet there continues to be unmet need and increased demand for the services we provide. Our services focus on the provision of high qu

ality cancer support, information and complementary therapies using approaches that value practical, emotional and physical wellbeing in the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of our Centre. We also have a Home Visiting service. All our services are provided free of charge. At Cherry Lodge, we work alongside the clinical care of the NHS within a catchment area centred on Barnet and extending over much of North London and South Hertfordshire. Since joining the A5 partnership, we have strengthened our outreach service to black and minority ethnic groups.

Pimms & Painting Evening at Cherry Lodge Cancer Care
Join us for a relaxing and fun-filled evening of Pimms and painting at Cherry Lodge Cancer Care on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Local artist Julie will guide you through a flower painting class, giving you the opportunity to explore your creative side while enjoying a glass of Pimms. You'll create your own masterpiece to take home at the end of the evening.
No experience is necessary – this class is suitable for all skill levels.
Cost: £25 per person
Your ticket includes:
• All painting materials
• A glass of Pimms or cordial
• Nibbles

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or ability. Bring your family, friends, colleagues, or come along solo and make some new friends while supporting a great cause.

Moments of calm and space to simply be yourself are so important 🌿

Members are invited to join us for a gentle introduction to meditation with life coach and yoga teacher Gina Clements.

Together, we’ll explore simple breath awareness and mantra practices designed to support relaxation, emotional wellbeing and restful sleep. 💙

The event is being held in the stunning swimming pool of QE Boys’ School, Queens Road, Barnet, EN5 4DQ, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Sunday 28th June 2026.
The sponsored swim is open to people of all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome.
The pool is 25m long. Set your own target (e.g., 10, 20, 30 lengths) and try to beat it!
