P J Day Opportunities Building based Day Care Service/Social Club for older people.

We are an enthusiastic business aiming to provide a much needed, building based, Day Care Centre/Social Club for older people in the Meir Heath location and surrounding areas, including Stone, Barlaston, Tittensor, Forsbrook, Cheadle, Tean, Fulford and Lightwood. We offer a wide range of daily activities that are aimed at stimulating both physical and mental health needs.

We had a lovely day today. Played carpet bowls this morning, stopped for a leisurely lunch and then had a game of Shirling this afternoon.
I'd like to welcome our new volunteer, Pat.
Lisa, another volunteer, has also been in this last couple of weeks, great to have you back Lisa.
Lovely to see Derith, (our lovely volunteer who has been with us since day one,) Derith popped in to see us on Monday, we can't wait for your return, wishing you a speedy recovery.
Goes without saying, Anne and Alison, you always have my back ladies.

If anyone is looking for daycare for people aged 55 and over, either for yourself, a loved one or someone you may think would be interested in some companionship, or a break for you as a carer, knowing the person is in safe hands, then please consider P J Day Opportunities.

We are based at Stoke on Trent rugby club, on Hartwell Lane, Barlaston ST15 8T
We open on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am until 3pm.

On a typical day, when you arrive, you will be welcomed by staff. Offered refreshments, sit and chat with the friends that you will make, until we start an activity, which we adapt to meet all of your abilities. We stop for a 2-course meal, freshly prepared on site.

After lunch, we do some more activities, until its time to stop for tea, coffee and cake or biscuits.

Staff are trained to assist with personal care, if anyone needs a helping hand.
