Piws Providers

Piws Providers Did you know Accessible Tourism holds a staggering £15 billion annual value? We now support families with disabled children and young adults up to 24 years old.

Piws in partnership with Tourism Associations are spearheading change in the tourism, leisure, and hospitality industry. Piws is a community-driven organisation dedicated to enhancing accessibility for individuals with disabilities, including autism, learning difficulties, sensory impairments, mobility challenges, and brain illnesses. Founded in 2018 on the Isle of Anglesey, Piws, a parent led Com

munity Interest Company (not for profit) focuses on creating an inclusive environment in both local and tourism settings. Our mission is to improve accessibility by researching progress since the 2010 Equality Act and collaborating with families, businesses, and community groups. Piws started by organising safe space events for families with children with autism, gathering insights to develop practical solutions. Over time, our efforts have expanded to address a wider range of disabilities, including partnerships with the tourism and hospitality sectors to make environments more inclusive. All our work and direction come from listening to the true experts – the parents and carers of children with disabilities and young adults with living experience. Our work extends across Wales, where we collaborate with stakeholders to provide accessibility training, raise awareness, and promote best practices. Through workshops, events, and online platforms, Piws empowers individuals with disabilities to confidently engage with their communities and environments.
