825 Bangor Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets 825 (Bangor) Squadron meets every Monday night, in Bangor Army Reserve Centre 7-9.45pm

Welcome to the official page for 825 (Bangor) Air Cadet Squadron. We are a dynamic youth organisation for young men and women aged between 12 - 20 years of age. Our cadets take parts in a huge number of activities ranging from flying, sports and adventurous training under carefully supervised conditions.

🛩️ Cadet Gliding Opportunity🛩️

Recently, Cdt Patrick travelled to Scotland to enjoy a fantastic weekend of gliding with 661 VGS 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✈️

This fantastic opportunity allowed Cdt Patrick to develop his aviation knowledge, experience the thrill of gliding and build on the skills and confidence that make the RAF Air Cadets such a rewarding organisation to be part of ⭐️

A huge thank you to all the staff at 661 VGS for making this such a brilliant experience for our Northern Ireland cadets. Your time, effort and dedication are greatly appreciated! 👏

✈️Squadrons Taking to the Skies✈️

Our CWO Crosbie who is a flight staff cadet (FSC) at 13 AEF, Aldergrove spent time with cadets from 2178, 72 and 72DF squadron helping prepare them for Air Experience Flying.

As a flight staff cadet, CWO Crosbie has the opportunity to brief and teach cadets before they take to the skies in the Grob tutor Aircraft. It’s a rewarding role that not only develops leadership and instructional skills but allows them to meet and support cadets from across the country every week as they prepare for their flights!

The Air Cadets offers incredible opportunities for anyone with an interest in aviation, STEM, adventure training, leadership and lifelong friends . Whether you dream of flying or simply want to challenge yourself and try something new , there’s something for everyone

What a brilliant way to wrap up for summer🍕🎬

Safe to say we underestimated just how much pizza our cadets could eat... there wasn't much left by the end! 😂

Wishing all our cadets, staff and families a fantastic summer break. We can't wait to see everyone back in August !!!!

🚤Flying High with the RNLI🚤

Despite some very wet weather, our air cadets had a fantastic visit to Donaghadee Lifeboat on Monday night to hear about the excellent work they do keeping us all safe on the water.

It was also a real bonus to be able to see round the Sir Samuel Kelly Lifeboat on station at Donaghadee from 1950 until the mid-1970's.

A huge thank you to the RNLI team at Donaghadee for their warm welcome and for sharing their time and knowledge with us. 🚢👏

✈️An end of an era as we bid farewell to FS Halliday back in April. ✈️

FS Halliday was fantastic coming over from 2241 squadron to support us over the past years.
Her contribution was truly invaluable.

We're excited to introduce the new Halliday Shield🏆 which will be awarded annually to recognise the most improved Flight.
