🚨 BREEZEMOUNT COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION — COMMUNITY SAFETY ALERT 🚨

We are saddened to hear that three masked men entered a home in our area on Wednesday night while a mother and her son were inside. Thankfully, nothing was taken, but this was a frightening experience. Our thoughts are with the family ❤️

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home. Please remain vigilant, keep your homes, vehicles and outbuildings secure, and look out for your neighbours.

If you saw anything suspicious or have CCTV or dashcam footage that could help, please contact PSNI on 101, referring to the incident described in the poster. Please pass information directly to police and avoid naming people or sharing speculation in the comments.

Let’s pull together, support one another and help keep Breezemount safe. 🏡🤝

Please share to help make residents aware.

Autumn newsletter📰🍂

Can everyone please take their time to complete the survey, we as a community want to be able to get an idea of what those living in our area want to see from us. This will give us an idea for future events and activities!

Please also keep an eye, these will be posted around doors this evening by the lovely children from DICE Project, so a big shoutout to them for their hard work!

Please keep an eye on our page for upcoming events!

⚠️TONIGHT⚠️

We would love as many children as possible to attend!

🍕🚔 LET’S TALK ABOUT ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR! 🚔🍕

We’re inviting children to come along to Green Road Community Centre for an evening of pizza, chat and some really important conversations! 💬🍕

📅 Tuesday 18th August
⏰ 7pm–9pm
📍 Green Road Community Centre

Officers from the PSNI and representatives from Extern will be joining us to talk with our young people about antisocial behaviour, the impact it can have on individuals and our community, and how making better choices can make a real difference. 💙

This isn’t about sitting through a boring talk! 🙌 It’s a chance for young people to ask questions, have their say, enjoy some pizza and be heard in a friendly and relaxed environment.

🗣️ Your voice matters. Your community matters.

💡 Bad choices can have real consequences — but together we can encourage better choices and stronger communities.

🍕 FREE PIZZA included!🍕

Please share and encourage your young people to come along! 💜💚

⚠️ E-SCOOTER SAFETY – PLEASE SPEAK TO YOUR CHILDREN ⚠️

It has been brought to our attention that children within our area have had a number of near misses while using e-scooters, due to carelessness and not paying enough attention to traffic and other road users.

We are asking all parents and guardians to please have a conversation with their children about the dangers of e-scooters and the importance of road safety. A split second of carelessness could have very serious consequences.

🚨 Please also be aware: PSNI have been clamping down on e-scooters in the local area over the past number of weeks, with a number being confiscated. Privately owned e-scooters are generally illegal to use on public roads and other public places, and legal road use would require requirements such as appropriate insurance to be met.

Please remind your children to slow down, pay attention, be aware of cars and pedestrians, and think before they ride.

We don’t want to see anyone hurt. ❤️

Parents – your words matter. A quick conversation could prevent a serious accident.

Please share and help us keep our children and community safe. 🙏
