Earlier this month rainbows and brownies had a fantastic time at the GirlGuiding Cherwell division fun day!!
They all had a go at making a woggle or a car, following a fairy trail, pioneering, circus skills, wooden spoon people and crawling through a cave pod!!

We all had such an amazing time, I couldn't fit it all into one video!! So hold on for Part 2!!!

This term both Brownies and Rainbows have been thinking about kindness and our community.
Yesterday evening rainbows decorated and planted 40 "cups of kindness" and Brownies went for a walk around our local area dropping the plants at random doorsteps along our route.
They also hid rocks of kindness, that the brownies had painted a few weeks earlier!!

We hope they brought a smile to who ever found them!!

This week in rainbows, we experimented with making card floats!!!

First we made water bugs out of card, then attached pennies to them and tested them in the water buckets to see if they would float!!
Then we tested some without weights and had mixed successes with them floating!

Well, what an amazing session we had this week!!
We welcomed Meg, "Oreo" and two of their youth leaders from Banbury’s Net Tigresses to teach the girls all about netball!!
They learnt about the different passes, how to shoot, played a range of games and even Brown Owl and Tawny Owl joined in for some shooting practice and a game of bench ball!!

Thank you soooooo much!!! We can't wait to welcome you back again in the future!!
