💚 Today is World Mental Health Day.

This year’s theme, “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change,” is a reminder of just how important it is to really listen to the experiences of those around us.

At OPRL, we believe that creating a supportive workplace starts with people feeling heard, valued and able to be themselves. Sometimes, making a difference can be as simple as checking in with a colleague, making time for a conversation, or giving someone the space to talk. 💬

Mental health isn’t something we should only talk about once a year. By continuing to listen, support one another and keep the conversation going, we can all help create a kinder and more understanding workplace. 🌿💚

🎉 We’ve got some news… OPRL is now ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified!

We’re incredibly proud to have achieved these internationally recognised standards for Quality Management and Information Security Management. ✅

But while the certifications are something to celebrate, we were particularly proud of the feedback from our independent auditors.

They highlighted our strong culture of quality, customer focus and commitment to continual improvement, recognising the work our team puts in every day to make sure our members receive the reliable, expert support they need. 💚

For our members, it provides further independent assurance that quality and information security are embedded into the way we work.

Recycle Week 2026 starts on Monday!

This year is all about Rescue Me, Recycle – encouraging more of us to stop, think and rescue those recyclable items before they disappear into the rubbish bin.

And there’s good reason to get involved. Last year’s campaign reached almost 6 million UK adults, with fewer key recyclable items being missed and put in the wrong bin afterwards.

At OPRL, our mission is a world where packaging doesn’t go to waste – so we’re very happy to be supporting the campaign again this year. 💚🌍

Who’s ready for ? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Ever stood over the bins wondering… “Can I actually recycle this?” 🗑️ 🤷

You’re definitely not alone.

Research behind this year’s Recycle Week campaign shows that people are still unsure about what they can recycle and how to recycle it.

And that’s something close to our hearts at OPRL 💚

Clear recycling information helps take away the guesswork and makes it easier for people to put packaging in the right place when they’re finished with it.

Because recycling shouldn’t feel like a guessing game.

Here’s to making the right recycling choice the easy one. 🙌
