πŸ‡ Grape juice pressing at Bridge Street Community Garden πŸ‡

Tomorrow, Thursday 3 September, 5–6.30pm, we’ll be turning a crop of donated homegrown grapes into juice at the community garden, using a wooden fruit press.
πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡
Come along and help us crush and press the grapes, have some fresh juice and welcome the autumn together πŸ‚

It looks like it will be dry tomorrow, fingers crossed 🌀️

It’s free and everyone is welcome. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring an empty bottle if you’d like to take some juice home and a cup to have some while you’re there.

🌳 GARDEN TREE GIVEAWAY: SEND YOUR PHOTOS 🌳

Have you received a tree from us as part of the Oxfordshire Garden Tree Giveaway?

We would love to know how it's doing and receive a picture of it in leaf or flower. Also let us know the year you received it if possible.

Email your photos to [email protected]

Remember to keep watering your tree regularly for the first three years. They'll need roughly 50 litres per week over the summer! Rain water is best, but if using tap water leave it outside in a bucket for 24 hours beforehand for the chlorine to evaporate.

We expect to be running the giveaway again this year and will be offering single garden trees and hedgerow packs to applicants.
