🎭✨ WHY ARE WE HOLDING AN EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING? ✨🎭

As many of you know, we had planned to hold our Annual General Meeting last Wednesday. Unfortunately, due to a low turnout, the meeting had to be cancelled.

As a result, we are now calling an Extraordinary General Meeting – and we need your help.

General meetings are about much more than ticking boxes. They give members and supporters the opportunity to have their voices heard, share ideas, ask questions, and help shape the future of Banbridge Musical Society. They are a chance for everyone who cares about the society to have a say in the direction we take.

Most importantly, we need to form a committee.

Without a committee, there is no one to organise productions, manage finances, secure rehearsal spaces, coordinate volunteers, or keep the society running. Quite simply, without people willing to step forward, the future of Banbridge Musical Society is at risk.

Joining the committee might sound daunting, but it doesn't require special skills or years of experience. If you care about this society, enjoy musical theatre, and want to help ensure it continues for future generations, then you already have something valuable to offer. Fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work as part of a team can make all the difference.

Whether you're a current member, a former member, a parent, a friend of the society, or simply someone who wants to support local theatre, we would love to see you there.

We at Banbridge Musical Society are still pinching ourselves — we genuinely can’t believe this happened! ✨

After finishing our incredible run of Annie Jr. on Sunday, our young cast were already on such a high. They loved every single second of every performance, and thankfully the audiences seemed to love it just as much ❤️

But then came a surprise we never expected…

The legend that is Daniel O'donnell attended one of our performances — and not only that, he took to the stage afterwards to congratulate all of our amazing young people personally. He told them how impressed he was and how much he loved the show 🎭👏

This is a memory our young performers will carry forever, alongside their parents, families, production team, and everyone involved in making Annie Jr. so special.

We are incredibly grateful for the support shown to the young talent we are so proud to nurture here at Banbridge Musical Society 💛

✨ That’s a wrap on Annie ✨

We are so sad that our production of Annie Junior is all over, but we are also incredibly proud of every single young person who took part. ❤️

They poured their heart and soul into every moment on stage. Every song, every dance, every scene was filled with love, laughter, fun, and a true passion for theatre. 🎭✨

A huge thank you to our wonderful audiences who came along to support the show. Your applause, cheers, laughter, and encouragement meant the world to our cast and crew. Seeing so many people enjoying the performances made every rehearsal worth it. We are so grateful for your support. 🌟

To our amazing cast, crew, volunteers, families, and everyone who supported this production — thank you. Your hard work, dedication, and encouragement made this show so special, and we are grateful to each and every one of you.
