We are busy setting up our new exhibition which opens at 11.30 on Saturday 13 June ….!

Get ready for a burst of creativity as West Ox Arts (WOA) launches its much-anticipated summer exhibition, “Arts & Crafts 2026.”

Located at our gem of a gallery in the heart of Bampton, the show brings together an inspiring mix of works from WOA members and friends, celebrating the depth and diversity of local artistic talent.

⁠The WOA ‘Oxfordshire Artweeks ⁠’ Exhibition
runs until Saturday 30 May⁠ - a whole week to enjoy this inspiring collection of local artists!

…..and it is the ‘Whit Monday Day of dance’ in Bampton !

There are three sides;
Bampton Traditional Morris Dancers
Bampton Morris Men
Traditional Bampton Morris Dancers
who begin dancing around Bampton from 8:30-9:00 in the morning. The dancing continues all day and into the evening - listen for the music and bells!

It's the Bank Holiday weekend here in Bampton !
There is plenty going on here over the next few days....

Here at the Gallery we celebrate “British Isles” for daily theme. Perhaps one artist in our current exhibition depicts the idea of ‘British Isles’ perfectly and that is David Stone, we are sure you will agree.

There are festivities today in Bampton.....
Today is the Spajers Shirt Race Sat 23rd May !!!!
The Shirt Race has been run almost every year since 1953. It is a 'chariot' race in fancy dress to raise funds for elderly residents in Bampton and Lew. Starts at 5pm in the Market Square, the race begins at 6pm.

Come and visit us 😀 Did you know we have a gallery shop as well, where you can buy cards, jewellery and unique items made by our local WOA members.
Well worth a visit.
