We have had a busier few days over this last weekend!

A lovely visit from Bucksburn Academy on Friday morning. It was wonderful to feel the excitement from them as they headed to the beach together, and they brought the sun which we hadn’t seen for a while!

Today we had a few surprise visits. We hope they will come back now they know we are here!

It’s wonderful to see the park and beach busy.

An excellent afternoon on Balmedie Beach today!
A Hippocampe, Sandcruiser and the X8 were on the sand. The tide was out and it was cold but everyone had a great time!

Final sorting, cleaning and maintenance at the Balmedie Beach Wheelchair bunker today for the official start of our season this weekend. We are based at The Sand Bothy at the start of the season where you can visit and see a lot of interesting history and info of the area, dunes, shipwrecks, animals and much more, some great activities too for children. The kiosk will be open too serving hot drinks and snacks . Come and say hi to our volunteers 😊
