Newry Film Festival Like this page for all the info in the run up to the festival. Newry Film Club is proud to present Newry's second ever film festival. Newry Film Club

We have put together a program that reflects the festival's commitment to international as well as local talent in the film Industry. The main focus last year was to get the festival up and running and this year we have tried to expand the event with screenings in Newry Market, Narrow Water Castle, Grounded at Slieve Gullion, Bellinis and Newry Omniplex. The festival includes a mix of contemporary

, foreign language film, documentary, short films and competition short films. We are very excited to be showcasing two films by local film makers - the documentary "Bleeding Pines of Turpentine" by George Kingsnorth and the short film "Wasted" by Cathy Brady. We are also delighted to be promoting the talents of local young film makers in our Short Film Competition on the last night of the festival. We would like to thank our funders, sponsors and partner organisations for their continued support. Please join us in our 2nd celebration of all that is inspiring, challenging, innovative and wonderful about the world of film.
