Heart of Down Highland Dancers

Directions

Heart of Down Highland Dancers Heart of Down Highland Dancers were formed in 2004 with classes being held on Fridays in Magheradroll Church Hall, Ballynahinch.

Children of all ages and abilities are welcome to come along and learn Highland Dancing. Some of our more experienced dancers demonstrate their dancing talents at local events as well as competing in competitions in Northern Ireland and Scotland. Our dance school offers a warm, safe, welcoming and friendly learning environment where children can come along to learn the dances, make new friends and keep fit. Classes are taught by Kathryn Stewart.

Summer is a time when we have a break from classes and enjoy some holiday time - but our dancers don't stop dancing! On the 11th July some of our team headed to Kilkeel to compete in Kirknarra's highland dancing competition and then done a marathon day by taking part in the 11th night Schomberg festivities. Henry also had a busy day piping.
