It's true that being a member of a Local Loyal Orange Lodge these days may not be an easy task. So many other things take up our time and energy. Being a Lodge Member doesn't need to be full on and your commitment level is up to you.

However, it's important that your Local Loyal Orange Lodge is maintained and its tradition carried on. Sometimes Local Lodges will fold, which is the result of people not supporting or leaving thinking It will still carry on without them. In most cases it will but when already low in numbers, it can be the beginning of the end. A Lodge needs ALL its members to pull together, a team effort which is only successful if the team is going In the same direction for the good of the Lodge.

I urge people out there to get involved in your Local Loyal Orange Lodge and for past members to return, the times ahead may be tested, let's not be the generation that let our our Lodges die out.....

Being a member of the Orange Order Is rewarding, worthwhile and keeps a community together. We are not just an organisation. We are a world wide family that helps those in need but it needs you to keep the traditions going and remain part of our culture.

The officers and members of Drumaheagles LOL 1099 and Drumaheagles Junior LOL 99 would love to hear from any prospective new members or lapsed members looking to rejoin. Also if there are any ladies looking to join the Orange, please message the page as it would be great to see a Drumaheagles WLOL back on the road!

Craigywarren L.O.L. 476 will hold its Sunday Service in Cloughwater Presbyterian Church on Sunday 28th June at 11:30am.

Brethren, Sisters and Juniors are requested to assemble at Craigywarren Orange Hall at 10:30am before proceeding to the service.

All are welcome to attend. 🔶
