New lamppost up for more brightness on the path making us feeling a bit more safer thanks to Reuben Glover and DFI for getting rhis sorted for us.
Also the branches of the trees down the path to tescos have been cut back also but they will be back out to trim it all better later.

FOLKS OF BALLYKEEL 1 ESTATE PLEASE REMEMBER OUR HALLOWEEN PARTY ON THE 29TH OCTOBER.
THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR THE BEST FANCY DRESS UNDER 5, 5 AND OVER AND THE ADULTS TOO.
IT STARTS AT 6PM WE WILL HAVE DUCKING FOR APPLES, PAINTING/CARVING PUMKINS WHATEVER THE KIDS WOULD LIKE TO DO, WATCHING A FILM AND THEN PLAY HITTING THE PIÑATAS AND THEN SOME SPARKLERS.
PLENTY OF THINGS TO DO BE DOING.
SO COME ALONG AND HAVE SOME SPOOKY FUN☠️💀👹

Don't forget our Halloween spooky night for the kids in the estste on Thursday 29th October.

Our community group contacted Sure start this morning about the concerns of some residents with the overgrowth onto the footpath. Hopefully this will be sorted promptly.

❤️ Our next fundraiser is for a cause very close to our family’s heart — WAVES in Ballykeel 2, Ballymena.

WAVES provides vital summer schemes and support for local children with special educational needs, offering a safe, caring environment where they can enjoy themselves and feel supported.

Our daughter Ava, who has autism and severe learning difficulties (SLD), has benefited from their summer scheme over the past two summers. Knowing she was happy and well cared for gave us time to do things with our older girls, whose patience, understanding and love help us meet Ava’s needs every day. Having that time to focus on them meant so much to us as a family ❤️

To show our gratitude, KCA Motors will donate £50 to WAVES for every car sold throughout October and November. 🚘

This is our way of giving something back and helping other local families benefit from the support that has meant so much to ours.

Just been told there is some young ones banging doors and windows in the estate. Think they have nothing better to do trying to scare the elderly.

This is what I have been taken part in for the last 7 months with other community groups we have been working hard to see if we can get the Ballymena South feeling safer, cleaner and more for the youth of the town.
It was a great support yesterday from everyone and our action plan hopefully will fall into place sooner rather than later.
If you look thru the phitos and the video that was put together by the Chairman Gary Lamont who is fantastic might i say you will see the vision we have been hoping to work for.
