A great morning bringing the Glens Men and Cushendall Knit & Natter group together for a friendly boccia tournament. There was a bit of competition, plenty of laughs and something tasty to eat.
It’s all about bringing people together, making connections, keeping active and supporting our health and wellbeing.
Keep practising, everyone – we’ll see you again soon

This week, we’re heading back to the late 1990s. A little trip down memory lane that might bring back a few memories for some of our members.

A good evening at the Community Emergency Preparedness Workshop last week in the Glens.

NACN hosted the session on behalf of the Rural Community Network (RCN), the workshop forms part of RCN’s research into Strengthening Rural Civic Contingency Planning.

It was great to see the community so well represented, with people coming together to explore what adverse weather and emergencies could mean for their local area. A big thank you to everyone who came along and shared their experiences and ideas.
This research is supported by Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs

It’s been another busy year of supporting communities, connecting people and making things happen and we’ve put together a little snapshot of what we’ve been up to.

Behind every number are people, communities, volunteers, members, partners and funders who make the work possible. A huge thank you to everyone who has worked with us, supported us and helped us make things happen across our communities.

Here’s to another year of working together. For further information about our work www.nacn.org
