๐Ÿš‘ Great News for Ballymena! ๐Ÿš‘
Weโ€™re delighted to announce that three new volunteer responders have successfully completed their training with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and are now actively responding to Category 1 and Category 2 emergency calls across the greater Ballymena area ๐Ÿ’™
This is a huge boost for our scheme, helping us reach patients, more quickly, especially in those critical first moments when every second counts.
Our new responders, Ryan, Nicole and Stephen, are already making a real difference, providing lifesaving care and support to patients before ambulance crews arrive.
๐Ÿ‘ A massive congratulations and thank you to all three for your dedication and commitment to serving your community.
As we continue to grow, weโ€™re always looking for more volunteers to join the team, if youโ€™ve ever thought about becoming a Community First Responder, now is the time to get involved!
๐Ÿ’™ Together, weโ€™re saving lives in Ballymena.

When someone suffers a sudden cardiac arrest, survival chances drop by 10% for every minute without defibrillation. ๐Ÿ˜จ

But with immediate CPR and a shock from an AED within 3โ€“5 minutes, survival rates can reach up to 70%! ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿซ€

Thatโ€™s why having a defibrillator nearby - and knowing how to use it - is vital. ๐Ÿš‘

๐Ÿ™‹โ€ Does your workplace, school, club or community space have an AED?
๐Ÿ“ฆ Is it visible, registered, and in full working order?
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Have your team had training recently?

๐Ÿ’ฌ At MKB Medical, we provide equipment, training, and guidance to help you save lives across Northern Ireland.

๐Ÿ“ฒ Get in touch today - because in a real emergency, thereโ€™s no time to waste.

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ“ฑ Help Emergency Services Find You โ€“ Instantly! ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐ŸŒ

In an emergency, every second matters. Thatโ€™s why we love what3words โ€“ a free app that can pinpoint your exact location with just three words. ๐Ÿšจ

๐Ÿ“Œ Whether youโ€™re on a rural walk, at a busy festival, or somewhere without a clear address, what3words gives you a simple way to be found fast. The world is mapped into 3m x 3m squares โ€“ each with its own unique 3-word code.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Example? Our HQ is located at ///family.basket.public

๐Ÿ“ฒ Just open the app, find your locationโ€™s 3-word code (like ///rescue.safe.arrive), and share it with emergency services. It could make all the difference when time is critical ๐Ÿ’ฌโค๏ธ

๐Ÿ’ก Get the app today and be prepared, wherever you are.
