Harryville Partnership Initiative

Harryville Partnership Initiative We are a community group based in Harryville, Ballymena.

One of our many aims is to encourage the residents of Harryville to take pride in the area in which they live. We also try to encourage our residents to participate in activities run by our group, this might include environmental clean ups, the youth club, seniors group activities or historical and cultural awareness.

Today the Braidwater Seniors visited Cushendun which was the final site visit of their Exploring Together programme. Thank you to Jude McNeill for facilitating a tour of Cushendun where we were able to learn more of the rich history of the village. Over the duration of the programme the group visited the Somme Centre, the Siege Museum, Castle Community Trust and finished today in Cushendun these visits have increased participants understanding of our history and community development.
Thank you to Radius Housing and especially Lisa Mooney for supporting this programme. Thank you to all the organisations who hosted the group and made us so welcome.
