⭐Northern District Cadet of the Year ⭐

Well done to all the Cadets who took part in this year's District Cadet of the Year Competition. This year saw entries from across the district.

Each Cadet provided excellent presentations and gave good interviews. The Cadets also took part in first aid and groupwork tasks.

Congratulations to Carys McKeegan Carrickfergue Cadet Unit who was named the Northern District Cadet of the Year.

Congratulations also goes to Olivia Thompson from Ballymena Cadet Unit who came 2nd and Kayleigh Hanly from Belmont Cadet Unit who placed 3rd.

Harrison Gent from Larne Cadet Unit was named Junior Cadet of the Year for Northern District.

Carys, Olivia and Kayleigh will now go on Regional Cadet of the Year competitions in January. Well done everyone.

🚑♥️ Restart a Heart 2025 ♥️🚑

We had over forty young people from Ballymena, Carrickfergus, Larne and North Belfast take part in 'Restart a Heart' today The Junction Retail and Leisure Park.

Our young people shared their knowledge and skills with members of the public, teaching them how to perform life saving CPR.

Thank you to all who got involved, had a go at CPR and kindly donated to our youth programmes! ♥️🚑🦡🐾

Congratulations to all the Cadets who took part in Northern District Cadet of the Year today. Particular congratulations goes to Anna Everest from Carrickfergus Cadets who was named Northern District Cadet of the Year, Savannah Long from Larne who came 2nd, Luke Gillen from Belmont who came 3rd and Chloe Dunn from Coleraine who was 4th in the competition.

These four Cadets will now go on to compete in Regional Cadet of the Year competitions in January, representing Northern District.

Congratulations also goes to Jacob Clarke who was named Northern District Junior Cadet of the Year.
