May Carers Coffee Club we compared Brand Vs Supermarket.
Corn Flakes - M&S won @ 90p a box
Crisps - Ready Salted Tesco @ 85p for a 6 pack
Chocolate digestives - Tesco @ 89p
Tomato Ketchup - Heinz @ £3 followed closely by Tesco @ 87p

Carers Coffee Club is very saddened to hear the passing of the Mayor, Alderman Beth Adger MBE.
Beth officially opened our Carers Coffee Club back in November and on the many occasions I met Beth at various community meetings she always encouraged me to keep pushing forward with the Carers Coffee Club.
She will be sadly missed by many within the community.

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is saddened to announce that the Mayor, Alderman Beth Adger MBE, has passed away.

A dedicated public representative for many years, Alderman Adger was appointed as Mayor last June.

Valerie Watts, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Interim Chief Executive said she was committed to her work and to the Borough.

She said: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our Mayor, Alderman Beth Adger MBE,”

“We would like to extend our sympathies to Mrs Adger’s family and friends and to the entire community of Mid and East Antrim following this sad news.

“She will be greatly missed.”

Further details will be provided in due course.

Carers Coffee Club meets the first Wednesday of every month. It's a non funded group, it's run by carers for carers.
We have thankfully this year been blessed with financial help from the kindness of Village Blinds, Providence Bank, Sandra Eccles, our carers, and also many friends & family who have donated via our Amazon Wishlist, and I have been asked to share our Amazon wishlist again

https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3K0UNYMSQCKP1?ref_=wl_share

Fresh items that we can use -
Bread, pancakes, butter, milk, cheese, fruit...
As long as it's dated for the first Wednesday of the month!

Alternatively longer shelf items -
Things like teabags, coffee, biscuits, cereals etc

Our carers are always well fed at each meeting, alongside having some time for themselves through self-care, a craft or information services.
