I'm writing this on behalf of all the staff of Compassion Group Network Charity who are all devastated right now.
On Monday we lost a dear friend and colleague Lesley.
Her untimely death has shocked us and reminded us all of what a shining light she was and how much she meant to each and everyone of us. She will be sadly missed.
She was beautiful, thoughtful, caring, kind and the way she painted inspired us all, a true god given talent that we were lucky enough to have her share with us. Her art is stratospheric.
She made a wonderful teacher and was looking forward to commencing more painting classes in the coming months, she advocated how much peace and escape art could bring to those with depression and she wanted to share it to help people cope and move forward positively.
I think I can speak for all of us in saying that her passing has taken a little piece away from us all. And we send out condolences to her friends and family who are also feeling the loss of someone truly special.
Lesley, you are now at peace. You are now watching over us all. You are now our inspiration to keep going and to remember that there is colour all around even when everything seems dull and grey. We knew you were going through difficult times yet you still were there for all of us. We love you dearly.
