Our inclusive performance group is back from our winter break on Tuesday night 7pm at Glebe House.

We have space for a few new members to join us this term.

A few of us went down to this last year and had an amazing day. We are hoping to run a bus down this year and want to gauge interest.

It truly is inclusive. Wheelchair accessible surfaces and buildings, accessible toilets including changing places, quiet places to escape the hustle and bustle, free carers tickets, carers wellbeing looked after too.

We were so busy with our performance group last night that we forgot to take pictures! There was some amazing hat juggling last night. We were truly astounded at how much progress we made with hats in just one session.

Then there was the party dance which it seems may now include a dancing pineapple.

No photos of last night so instead a very brief clip of Chelsea working on a vocal number with the amazing Stevie Mcveigh. Stevie volunteers his time every week and brings such a beautiful energy and so much fun into everything we do. We are so grateful for his outstanding support for our group.

We've had a few questions this week about our Street Theatre Group. There may be other folk wondering the same things so here's a little more info....

Yes you are welcome without a diagnosis

Yes you can bring a friend

Minimum age is strictly 16 - we promise there will be projects for children very soon.

We meet Tuesdays 7pm until 9pm at Glebe House Bishopscourt Road, Kilclief.

We still have some space in our Street Theatre Project. Our winter venue will be at Glebe House, Bishopscourt Road, Kilclief. We love our tent on the farm but it is not heated and often has to come down because of windy weather in the winter.

If you are an neurodiverse adult or have a learning disabilty and enjoy a bit of a hooley - then this is the project for you!

We will sing, dance, giggle, hula hoop, juggle and play a bit of music. There'll be something for everyone. If you have a talent not in that list and want to share, we will be delighted to see it.

Thanks Chelsea for the fabulous poster! The Big Top is up and we plan to have fun on Saturday no matter what kind of weather. Dress accordingly - shorts because skin dries faster than cotton or head to toe waterproofs and wellies. Stay inside the Big Top or dance in the rain.

TOMBOLA PRIZES NEEDED!

We are almost organised for our Garden Fete on Saturday 20th but we could do with a few more prizes for our Tombola stall please. Donations can be dropped off at the farm or if local we will do our best to collect.

One of our awesome participants had a look at my "To do" list, saw I needed to make a flyer for our upcoming Garden Fete and declared "I can do that!" So I moved away from the laptop and here is the result.

We are all about inclusivity and recognising the skills and talents in each other. I think she has done an amazing job and will be sharing my work list more often! Well done Chelsea!

Spread the word folks - this is our first fundraiser help us get several new projects off the ground. Projects that will help help us to fulfil our mission to heal hearts and minds one smile at a time.
