🚨🚨 Please can you HELP 🙈!! 🚨🚨
We are struggling the same as all small independent rescues in Northern Ireland 🙈
We absolutely Hate having to ask every month for funds to keep going .. we have drastically reduced our running costs at the rescue 🙌 but it’s still 1,800/2,000£ a month
That’s food ,cleaning materials ,fuel for the van and grass cutting ( not including any vet bills )
We thought we would be closed in January and due to so many helping before Xmas we have been able to keep going .. Thank you 🙏🏻
We currently have our own THR dogs ., huskies , husky crosses , Caucasian shepherds , lurchers , and a collie
Northern breeds will always be our top priority
We also are caring for other breeds from other rescues in an emergency recovery capacity ( the said rescues cover costs of food and vet fees )
So we are extremely busy
To put food on the table so to speak , I took on a wee part time job away from the rescue working with dogs and doing much the same as I do here 🌟( I do not or never have taken any sort of wage or payment for the work I do at the rescue .. Never ) 🌟 I love what I do and am blessed to be able to live this life with the dogs and live on site at the rescue 🐾🙏🏻😇
Sadly ,, due to an operation that I have needed badly for many years I will not be able to work here at the rescue or work at my part time work for many weeks or maybe months
We or I need ur help .. I’m going to have to pay for physical help at the rescue for July and August which I genuinely don’t have any money for !!
I can’t get out to do any fundraising in pets at home or any Belfast bucket collections
Last year I took out a very large personal loan to keep the rescue open August & September ( I will be paying it off for another few years so a loan is not possible ) 🙅
