SWSCAN warmly invites you to this first gathering of your local climate action network! This is an exciting opportunity to:
• meet like-minded folk from other communities
• share local actions, learning, ideas and plans
• start working together to make a positive difference in SW Stirling.

By collaborating and networking across our communities, we can increase our combined impact on climate change and sustainability.

The event will include:
• The AGM, to hear a brief update on last year’s activities and consider next steps for the network.
• Action-focused discussions, facilitated by local experts: on Energy, Biodiversity, Resource and Engagement.
• A splendid brunch!

Everyone passionate about the environment is welcome. Don’t miss out on this friendly gathering to build local climate action.

Unfortunately we're going to cancel this workshop today due to the weather. We'll be organising small groups to do winter pruning when we can see that it will be dry for a few days. Please get in touch if you'd like to be included. Otherwise, we're going to have a Summer Pruning workshop where we look at how to encourage more fruit growth on Apple and Pear trees and how to prune Plum and Cherry trees!

Please come join us in the Balfron Community Orchard for a harvest celebration! We'll be gathering apples, having a tidy and discussing future plans. The Balfron High School Art Club is making an art installation and we'll bring teas and coffee to share with home baking (orchard themed of course). No baking contest this year, but feel free to wow us with a contribution of your own. All are welcome and we'd love to have your input!
