RYLA 2025 - mine and ropes skills day!

Often activities participants have never done before, mine navigation, abseiling and tyrolean require listening, learning, practicing, teaching and communication. Support and encouragement are valuable from and for the team around you.

RYLA 2025 - water skills day. 💧⛵ 🛶🏕️

For some it takes a lot of effort and courage to learn a new skill and expect to become 'the expert' for your team.

There was a crash course in learning new technical skills, working together, listening and communicating, and having fun!

RYLA 2025 - Day 2 sun came out 😎 we saw some gorgeous Welsh countryside in the sunshine whilst learning navigation skills, and building on team work and communication.

RYLA 2025 - There's nothing like a gorge walk challenge to bring a team together! It's a new experience for many so they're balancing that with looking out for each other whilst meeting the task brief they were given.

Even the Rotarians were having a good time!

RYLA 2025 - day 1 included a bit of a wet 'walk and talk' hike after our first morning session meeting each other, covering the overview of the week and introductions.

Success for the week for some candidates included:
- try new things
- complete all activities
- gain skills and friends
- everyone on the course can bond
- create good memories
- unlock something personally they didn't know they needed
- have fun
- everyone cooperates and has a shared experience

It was a good start to the week, starting to bond over the hills, weather and maps!

We're looking for people who are willing to spend a week away in North Wales learning all sorts of skills that will help you in life, including:
