Our initial funding will help us provide:
💻 Accessible online courses to help parents better understand the challenges their autistic and neurodiverse children may experience. Topics such as subtle signs of stress and why we need to know them; behaviour is communication- understand, don’t judge; why the vestibular system is important for development; making Math easier through neurodevelopment; nutrition and Picky Eating.

💬 Safe online discussion forums where parents can connect, share experiences and support one another.

👩‍👧‍👦 In-person workshops for local parents in Bala while their children take part in cooking classes at the Pavilion, finishing with a shared afternoon tea prepared by the children.

And there’s an even bigger goal! 🌿 The more votes we receive, the more additional funding we can put towards our outdoor activity residential at Gwersyll yr Urdd Glan-llyn in 2027, helping us offer FREE child places to families who may otherwise struggle to afford them.

💜 What a truly unforgettable week... 💜

As we pack away the final pieces of camp and reflect on another incredible year, our hearts are so full.

To every family who chose to spend part of their summer with us – thank you. Thank you for trusting us, for sharing your smiles, your stories, your laughter, and for helping create the warm, welcoming community that makes our camp so special. Watching friendships grow, seeing children and young people simply be themselves without judgement, seeing children from last year come on leaps and bounds and seeing parents finally able to relax among people who truly understand is exactly why Autistic Haven exists.

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing activity providers. Your passion, kindness, patience, and enthusiasm created so many magical moments and lifelong memories. Every activity you delivered helped make this camp a place where everyone could join in at their own pace, discover something new, and simply enjoy being together.

A very special thank you to Elin at Tytandderwen Caravan and Camping Park for once again making us feel so incredibly welcome. Your warmth, generosity and support never go unnoticed, and we're so grateful that our families have such a beautiful, safe place to call home for a few days each summer.

To our wonderful volunteers Toni-Louise Hall Lloyd Murphy Gareth Webb and Rowenna Williams thank you for the countless hours behind the scenes. From bringing my caravan, setting up and packing away to helping activities run smoothly, checking in on families, and always being there with a smile, this simply couldn't happen without you.

There are so many moments we'll treasure from this year's camp—new friendships formed, old friendships strengthened, children finding confidence, families making memories, and so many smiles, laughs and happy tears along the way.

At camp an eagle owl was introduced to our group, reminding us all about the importance of treating every living being with kindness.✨️
I never tire of hearing Islwyn's story about he raised Esla (mark 2).🦉
It's a beautiful lesson in kindness that speaks louder than words 💜

✨️ 3-Night Camp Magic ✨

Another amazing day at camp! 💙

Our morning was full of giant bubbles, laughter and parachute games, followed by wellbeing sessions for our children and teenagers, exploring how our brains work and the importance of self-acceptance and self-compassion.

The afternoon brought a peaceful guided walk and some incredible dream catcher creations, before everyone relaxed with a beautiful yoga session.

These are the moments that make camp so special – creating safe spaces where autistic and neurodiverse families can connect, have fun, and make lasting memories. 💙🏕️
